What A Catastrophe!

Hi and welcome, everyone!I’m up on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog today bringing you the daily Post. The inspiration for this card comes from my niece and her cat, Gracie. I came home Saturday after a long day with them to find some happy mail on my porch. Fur-Ever Friends Stamp Set is one of my new goodies. This stamp set pairs perfectly with the Kitten Smitten and Puppy Love paper.

I colored the little kitten to look like Gracie, did a little die-cutting with Fancy Frame Dies, Scribbled Circle Dies, and Flag Banner Dies, layered on patterned papers from the Kitten Smitten paper pad.

Here are the products I used:

This card is pretty straight forward; die-cutting, stamping, coloring, and assembling.

CARD BASE:

8.5″ X 11″ – #110 white cardstock score at 5.5″, fold on score, cut at 4.25″ to create two tent fold cards.

LAYERS:

Cut blue layer at 4.125″ x 5.375″ with paper trimmer, die-cut patterned paper with largest Fancy Frame Die, die-cut gray cardstock with smallest scalloped die from Fancy Frame Dies, die-cut pink, green, yellow Scribbled Circle Dies, die-cut banner fromFlag Banner Dies.

STAMP:

Stamp kitten from Fur-ever Friends stamp set and color, stamp sentiment onto die-cut banner.

ASSEMBLE:

Layer blue cardstock on white card base, layer patterned paper, grey cardstock, arrange Scribbled Circle Dies to your liking, using 3D mounting foam add kitten and banner sentiment, finish off with enamel dots.

As always, thanks for joining me!
