Hi, everyone. Lisa here with you, kicking off a week-long collaboration filled with fun ideas.

I have two cards to share with you today.

This is a two for one, and it doesn't get much easier than this.

TO RECREATE THIS CARD

  • Start with a piece of white cardstock and the Whimsy Stamps Pinwheels Stencil apply Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo, set aside and let dry for at least an hour (I let it dry for 3 hours)

  • Once the gel is dry cover with Lime Foil, you can run this through your laminator or run through a manual die-cutting machine to apply pressure; I laid the foil of the stenciled pattern and ran my bone folder over it several times, and the results were terrific.

  • Cut the foiled cardstock to fit any size card base you want; I used an A2 size.

  • I used double-sided adhesive on white cardstock laid a piece of the Magenta foil over it, running my fingers across it, the foil transfers to double-sided adhesive because you can still feel the tackiness of the adhesive through that first layer in some areas, so I laid the second piece of foil down and ran through my manual die-cut machine with the happy die. I was really amazed at by the results, the adhered the word thanks to the tackiness. WIN!

  • Stamp the word everything from the Whimsy Stamps Happy Sayings stamp set onto black cardstock and heat set with white embossing powder, add to the card with mounting foam

FOR THE SECOND CARD

  • Tape a strip of the leftover foil to a piece of white cardstock by wrapping the foil around the backside of the cardstock and taping in place, trim with gray 1/8" strips of cardstock

  • Die-cut the word celebration from the foiled white cardstock, the shadow from the gray cardstock, and the largest shadow from black cardstock, stack together using liquid adhesive, add to the card base with mounting foam.

This next card is perfect for the new

TO RECREATE THIS CARD

If you're interested in recreating the inked background, I'm going to send you over to the

Whimsy YouTube Channel, I have a video tutorial on creating this background, and it's super simple.

You only need ink, blender brushes, and paper. Click below to check it out!

Now that you have your ink blended background ready to go

  • Lay the Whimsy Stamps Comic Half Tone Stencil over the ink blended background and apply Rina K Designs Electro-Pop Neon Glitz in the color Poppin Pink with a spatula and stencil pal, let dry completely

  • Cut down to size; I'm using an A2 card base, I trimmed the panel to about 4" x 5.25."

  • Run the Whimsy Stamps Comic Burst Die through a die-cut machine for the center, add mounting to the back of the center, adhere to card

  • Using the double-sided adhesive technique that I explained above die-cut the UGH! word from the Deco Foil Silver Shattered Glass Foil and the shadow from black cardstock; stack; adhere to card

  • I stamped the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Goth Girl Stamp Set below UGH!

Each company is giving away two $25 gift certificates - 1 here on the Whimsy blog and 1 on the Therm O Web blog.
